High concrete deep sinks were a back-breaking obstacle to the simple job of getting the dishes done until now...
The mamas and the children at MCCC are delighted with the recent renovation of the kitchen. Previously deep concrete sinks which were worn and increasingly hazardous have recently been replaced with more modern stainless steel sinks which are set at a more workable height.
The new sinks have been complemented by marble worktops, new taps, and tiles along the walls as a splashback.
All in all the renovations have made the kitchen a safer, brighter and more accessible place to work. The improved cleanliness and environmental benefits are a big bonus too.
We are very grateful to those who donate to the renovations programme at MCCC from time to time. If you would like to be involved, go to our projects page and see if there is something you would like to help with.
